Founded in 1958 the Washington Teamsters Welfare Trust (the Trust) provides high quality, affordable health insurance and wellness benefits.
The Washington Teamsters Welfare Trust is a self-funded Taft-Hartley trust, that is jointly managed by a Board of Trustees made up of union and employer representatives. The Trust is funded by participating employer contributions paid under the terms of negotiated labor agreements and covers approximately 20,000 active employees. The Trust is administered by Northwest Administrators (NWA).
